Thread: Poynt beta release #2

so i just received a link to download poynt beta for the second round of testing or something didn't really read email just light up like a kid on Christmas and downloaded new version. my phone is rebooting now.


We're one step closer to a public release of Poynt, but would like your final input prior to its release. For those that participated in the first round of beta testing - thanks for your continued support. For those new to the beta group, thanks for your interest.

Based on user feedback, we have implemented some additional changes and would appreciate your participation in testing this version. Once again, we're asking that you keep the contents of this version and your beta test results confidential. If you do not agree to this, or to the application Terms and Conditions (http://m.mypoynt.com/?????), please do not proceed with the download.

I'm stoked to be on board. I am downloading my new version right now. Just going through the rebooting process. I am sure it will be a winner!!

I glanced at the new app but didn't notice anything different from the first build. Must be bug fixes only.

at: I got the email but the download crapped out. Email sent hopefully I can try this out. I love poynt and would prolly use the open table.

Went to their site and the ota d/l says v1.3.1.29 which is already on my Storm. I don't recall updating this recently - what version are you referring to spm903? and how do I get it (if it is newer than what I have)?

It's a private beta they just opened it up to a bunch of new tests. I missed out on the first on but they kept my email so I got in this time.

The newest beta version is 1.4.2.62

They are beta testing the next version. Beta test was by invitation only. I tried to get in on it but was too slow to sign up. :17:

I didn't make the initial round of beta testing but received an email regarding testing their newest version. So an email might still be coming to you.

I got the same email. I haven't had a chance to install it and use the updated app. I have been using Poynt for a while now and really like the capabilities of the app... we will see what this version offers

I see the site, but the url is 1.4.2 version not 2?
