Thread: Unlocked Storm on Sprint?

Did a search and nothing popped up. I have a friend on Sprint holding out to get the storm2(odin). So can a unlocked storm work on the sprint network? Haven't seen anyone mention running their storm on sprint.

I am pretty sure they will only activate phones that came from their carrier stores. I dont think they will activate a Verizon device

Steifler is right...There is no way to activate a storm on Sprint...an unlocked storm means that the GSM/Sim card has been unlocked and can be used on a GSM carrier (AT&T or T-MO).

Thank you both. I'll have to break the news to him today. The storm is the reason he hasn't upgraded his phone. He's not going to be happy, cause I told him to wait for the storm2. Lol

Would your friend consider the option of moving to another carrier like Verizon?

I bet he could get within a few dollars of the difference of the price of the plans.

Just an alternative.
