Thread: Anyone else receive email about Update for smartphone?

Did anyone else receive an email this afternoon saying that a new software update is avalable for you blackberry smartphone? I tried Wireless Update and got nothing.

No I did not. I just checked through DM and received nothing.

I don't think there would be a new OS for that already unless the OP is running a old OS.

Looks like he is running 151 so yeah DM would tell him to downgrade actually to 148. I am on 5.0 and every time I hook up to DM it wants to take me back.

There will be an official OS coming for the Curve and Pearl though.

I did get the email also. I think it was for my old Pearl though.

I think that may be why I got it as well. I used to have the Curve

I remember getting an email about this about a month ago. I received it shortly after I downgraded my radio file down to .90 when Telus's official current radio was 122. I thought it was kind of strange that my provider may have known what OS was on my Storm.
