Thread: BBSAK questions

i just did the v8 install and am trying to restore my appz on the bb. i used bbsak 1.3 and it does not give me the option to restore. what gives? am i doing something wrong? any other way to reload?

Yeah that feature has been temporarily removed. You can still use bbsak to back up your apps but you need to use DM to reinstall it.

Browse into your bbsak file in c: program files > bbsak and dm will throw them on for you.

another thing you could do, or what i do, is back up with 1.3 then restore with 1.2 i saved the .exe from 1.2 before i installed 1.3

Glad I could help. Its a great application and by the sounds of it bbsak is working on a fix so keep your eyes on our bbsak thread!

You can also use the loader.exe to restore them. Just point to your .alx file that BBSAK created. They want to eventually get away from using DM all together. Awesome program!

I think the solution to this is to just the Load OS button to "Load OS or Restore Apps."
