What hybrid are you trying to install? Can you elaborate on what it is you are having a problem with?

You should still create a back up of your personal data settings using Desktop manager.

Here is how I do it. When inside BBM, hit options and then click backup contacts. If you are using a memory card it will back it up to there. One you install the new OS/hybrid go back into BBM and hit restore contacts and find that file name on your memory card.

Have you deleted the vendor.xml file?
Are you using App Loader, and not Desktop Manager?
Do you get any error messages?

Did you wipe your device to error 507 before loading the hybrid?

Does Desktop manager see your device?

Okay, can you describe to me what you are experiencing with BBSAK? When you open BBSAK do you already have your phone plugged in? Does the first button say connect, and when you press connect, nothing happens, or what happens? Have you tried rebooting your computer? Also have you tried a battery pull?

Really if DM can see your device, there shouldn't be any reason why BBSAK couldn't.

You don't want to reboot your computer or do a battery pull? Why is that?

Okay, and what happens when you open BBSAK? Does the first button just say Connect? What happens if you press connect?
