Thread: Getting back to factory settings on storm

I want to get my Storm back to store bought level.....I have upgraded, wiped, and removed many apps to make it work super fast....but I will be selling it next week. I removed all the verizon apps, docs to go.....and so forth.....how can I get everything back?

Make sure you put .148 onto device. When you install it to pc, then run app loader and select all you need to put back.

Also when you reload the software on the device you should perform a security wipe to ensure that everything is gone before you reinstall.

I would then add every application in the apploader except the extra languages. This will put it on par with the phone on the date you took it out of the box.

Yep, only by about 6 hours

you should get it unlocked during the daily hour unlock and then it could be worth more

When is todays contest? Do I need to have a plan attached or can I do this when its not active?

The time for today has not been announced yet. And I am fairly certain you can unlock a device without it having any sort of plan.

yes you can unlock an active or unactive phone

if I wipe the device, is it still unlocked? its sim based correct?

Yes. Once you unlock a device, it cannot be re-locked.
