One of my other buddies has the Storm but with the Verizon OS, so I will be doing a lot of testing.

I will keep this post updated as I find things out...

    UPDATE:

So I tried the Samsung sch-u430 on my headunit and it made the phone reboot every time it would connect.

That kind of amused me because I wasn't sure which one was the piece of $hit...

Interesting note, I spoke with Pioneer and they said that the Storm needed a firmware upgrade for it to work with the X910. They said that it does indeed work with it. Could it be my bluetooth file not being compatible with the unit? I am running Lyricidal Beta6v6 (.151/.164/5.0). Would the older bluetooth file work better?

    Final Update:

I went to Verizon yesterday and had my phone switched. At first the tech gave me a "Certified Pre-Owned" Storm, where the screen didn't even click. When I told him the screen didn't click he said all Storms were like that. I told him no, that was the major difference with the touch-screen, it's supposed to click. He got me a new one and noticed that the screen does click. He goes hey you're right the screen does click...AWKWARD!!!

I got my phone switched and the bluetooth is work perfectly with my X910bt headunit.

Could it have been the bluetooth device in the phone or what are the chances that it was the bluetooth file I had from the hybrid?

Hello TeK9....Jlevy would be the first to tell you that the BT support on the 9530 is hardly support at best....You seem like you have narrowed it down to a couple of instances.

    A. Device
    B. Software/OS

You are definitely on the right track now.

Now I'm kinda worried about upgrading the OS...Has anyone else seen problems when upgrading the bluetooth file?

The OS they have right now is actually solid...
If it ain't broke don't fix it...

    Thoughts?

That seems to be the consensus with jlevy in his battles with BT. Seems that throughout the course of catching the ultimate OS for the device, in ultimately other applications seem to deteriorate ie...BT, 3rd party app integration, etc. etc...

So pretty much you're saying leave the device as is because the function I am looking for is working just fine...
