Thread: VZNavigator and GPS on the Storm

I have deleted VZNavigator from my Storm because I don't need it (and don't feel like paying Verizon any more than I already do). Does the installed GPS have any utility with VZNavigator gone?? For instance, in Maps, there is a functrion which finds your current location using the GPS - will that work without VZNav?

Your GPS will work with BB Maps. I use it all the time and it works awesome!

the maps app is a map that uses gps to find location, so ya it will show where your at. also try google maps mobile (kinda the same just a little diffrent) and if you wnat that features from vznav like finding movie theater and stuff, then try out poynt great app, i like it...it is beta but still works good, and it works in conjunction with google maps or bb maps to show where that place is compared to your location
