Thread: Post 5.0 os Storm says Vodafone NL?

hey guys,
I was pulling asset information out of our Blackberry Enterprise Server and noticed that my storm (only one on 5.0) and a new Tour have 'vodafone NL' listed as its Active Carrier. Is this something i should be worried about?

the Tour is new and fully legit, which makes mine seem less shady i guess.


any ideas?

This was mentioned once in one of the findings threads we have. I don't recall seeing any information as to why or how to fix it, but I'll look back over the threads to see if there is.

I looked through both findings thread and only found one other person who had this issue. However there wasn't any other information pertaining to the issue. I will see if the person who also had this issue has any ideas.

yeah it was me that has this issue, I just looked on the BES again and it still says vodafone NL.... it only did this with 5.0... no idea why or if it's a problem.

It seems like vodafone NL is the Netherlands. Below is the exe I used when installing 5.0

9530AllLang_PBr5.0.0_ral176_PL4.2.0.17_A5.0.0.140. exe

the odd thing is that i have one guy with a Tour, straight from Verizon and it says vodafone NL too...
