gonna have to go with 5.0 since i'm getting really good signal at the moment. don't really remember which of the other ones were the best; been through too many. i think of the 4.7.0.xx, .151 was the best, although i also got good results with .132.
i would turn it all in for late nights and impossible dreams.
.132- Good SIgnal, Good BT, Low battery drain

ok I am going to show my noobness LOL Before I can vote. What's a RADIO...Thank you![]()
Hey Bookers. Check out the thread below where many of our members give their explanation as to what a radio is.

Ok Thanks! That was easy enough lol. I just started here so I went from .75 to 148 then 151 now 5.0140 and I have to say I like 148 for its stability and 5.0 for speed and eye opening new thing ie...transitions new icons and speed.
Lets get a great battery and app friendly 5.0 and we should be set for awhile. After reading playing and having fun I change to 151 previous sentence stands
Thanks :laugh2:

IMO .151 would be it IF it worked with Direct TCP ... pretty pointless if you can't have that
5.0 is my favorite but I need my RIM apps so....
I gotta go with .132 as far as just the radio is concerned. I had the best signal, fewest dropped calls, and good (low) battery drain. I live at the edge of coverage area and contantly go from 1X to 1XEV so it makes it easy to judge a radio in lower coverage area. When I'm at work in a strong 1XEV area, all the radios seem pretty much the same to me. .151 gives worse radio signal than .132 here at home, plus I have the MMS issue with it on my storm. 5.0 seemed good, but I only had it on my phone for 1 day because I need my apps and didn't like the other bugs.
Hopefully 191 will be better than all these![]()
Wirelessly posted
I have had the best luck with 5.0 radio from .140. Great reception, better battery life.![]()
Its time for an update here......
There is no 1 best radio file. It really depends on the area you are in. That is why everyone will have a different answer. You need to use the one that's best for you in your surroundings.
