Thread: 5.0 Audio notification fix?

So far I haven't found anything posted, if so I apologize. Is there any fix to be able to get audio notifications on 5.0 on anything but the default theme?

the only fix i have seen posted thus far is to use the default theme

I cannot figure out what could be different from the default theme to another that would interfere with audio.

I wonder if a wipe and fresh install would have any effect? Maybe something in the upgrade causes issues.

nope...that won't help.i spent about 5 hours on it yesterday.

I'm sure you can understand that this build is far from being complete. These issues will continue to plague the users who choose to run this OS. The more time that passes, the better the understanding the BB community will have.

Thanks, the time it would have taken to try that I think I will spend downgrading. Too many issues for now. Thanks agian.

also there might have to be a plazmic update to accommodate the 5.0 os's.

i'm not seeing many issues other than the theme compatibility and some apps that aren't up to speed. i was about ready to ditch it yesterday until i went to the stock theme and everything started to smooth out.

I was close to doing the same thing, but with the stock theme....everything runs so smooth.
