Just curious if anyone out there has got Slacker to work with 5.0?
...& if so what settings did you have to adjust to make this work?

I haven't heard anyone say they have. Most people that absolutely need this app have been downgrading.
yeah, that's what I thought. Just got word from someone thought that theirs (and others) works fine. I'm just guna take the plunge for myself & install 5.0 & try it out. I'll post what I find
Cool. Here is a link to the findings thread if you need it.

Slacker was a no go for me. However, if I recall correctly Shane said he got his to work.
I got my Slacker to work with 5.0. I was actually having problems with .151. Kept telling me I have no memory. With 5.0 it works fine, I just keep getting a box that pops up asking me to give Slacker permission to view an http site.
I didn't set up my Slacker yet, so after reading this I set it up and now it's playing. Slacker v2.0.12, the one that verizon pushed to the phones. I'm playing it via the phone speakers. It's been playing for about 2mins.
my slacker works fine. i just checked permissions to allow and disable compatablilty mode

Thanks everyone for the info. I tried 5.0 out last night & Slacker worked fine for me too. I had just heard a few people say they couldn't get it to work, so I was hesitant to make the switch. I went back to BBC's hybrid v7.1.4 I couldn't get my bb messenger to work w 5.0 & it was just too buggy for me. Lot's of cool features tho. Like clicking right on the bars (where it shows ur phone's reception) to 'manage connections' or on the time to access the clock/alarm app. The future looks very promising! Hopefully RIM (or Crackman) can get this up & running a little smoother
