Watkins - I spoke with David (owner of BA) about that and it was taken care of.

I agree with C6.

I used to wake up everyday and look at both sites and I got turned off from the inconsiderate way a person can be critisized for asking a question that may have been answered in another forum. Or how a person could be bashed for having a difference of oppion. This site has become my all time fav and with the leaked 5.0 or with BBC's hydrids, I am staying here.

Keep up the good work BBOS professionals.

Thanks for the kind words everyone but is it because of our members that we can be helpful. Because of you we don't have to spend are time deleting posts and closing threads. Every single one of you make BBOS what is and what it will be become.

Well I just wanted to throw my two cents in here and let you guys know that it's not hard to tell where the classy people hang out.

You guys make it easy to keep coming back, time and time again. We don't feel like we're being mugged if we misspell a word or ask a noob question. You guys just want to help and to be redundant, that really helps.

not calling anyone out but its a she

a good forum, with good members, admins and moderators will beat the $@%* out of any news feed website any day of the week. Other sites good at breaking news, but the forum sucks and people are too hostile and not very knowledgeable. A well organized forum spreads news efficiently and accurately and is the best place to seek help...
with all that being said...my hats off to BBOS...you guys are doing an amazing job keep it up:You_Rock_Emoticon:

in all seriousness, its all in good fun and i mostly only play spelling police with staff :nana: because some of the staff members need a lil hooked on phonics sometimes im not naming any names though

and i think BBOS is as great as it is because of the members, if we didnt have such great members we wouldnt have achieved half of what we have already.

The reason why I see this as important is. It is all about the people and the mods. See at other sites it's a joke. It may be the biggest but it sucks :laugh2:. People don't want to get flamed or bashed or told how stupid they are all the time. They come to a place like this ofr information and help. Some to do the helping . This place reminds me of DBSTalk. Quite simply the best at what both do. This for BB and the other dor Sat. TV.

Yep, very much like DBSTalk. I used to go there a lot when I was a Direct user. There is a very similar feel. Everyone is very friendly and here to help. I think the problem with some other sites is that the leadership allows it to get out of hand. If you stop the flaming before it gets started, then it never becomes a problem. If flaming and bashing are tolerated then it becomes the "norm", and people will get out of control.

But I agree with everyone else. The members here at BBOS are top notch. We appreciate each and every one of you.

It is the members that make the forum though...Not to take away from the Mods, Help staff, or others (because they are awesome).

Speaking to the members directly: There are over 6000 of you and only a handful of Team members. That proves that YOU are the ones that are supportive of this site and mature enough to ask and answer questions without regressing to caveman mentality ranking someone down to be funny.

I tip my hat to all 6134 members out there that continue to grow and make this site Number One!

I started both sites at the same time, and not that my post count is that high anyway but i think my post count is atleast 5 times bigger here and anytime i have a question i didn't feel like posting a thread about, i know exactly who to pm here and i always get a response in 10 min or less, THIS SITE IS FANTASTIC!!!! :hail: :You_Rock_Emoticon:.
