Thread: Please help with Calender.

How do I get my calander to show date of birth and other stuff. It doesn't show anything anymore. Is there a setting for this? Please help.

First thing is did you upgrade to 5.0 yesterday or are you still using BBC's 7.1.4 hybrid?

Still running the hybrid. I heard to many bad things with the 5.0 OS.

I just checked and don't think you can. You can add these to contacts but don't see a setting for this in Calendar.

you can put someone's birthday in contacts... idk why you would put dob in calendar, unless you just assign an event for that day as "xxxx's birthday"

I would add the person's B-bay in contacts and when that day would come, it would show up on my calander as a reminder. It's doesn't do that anymore.

Are you using some type of the 3rd party app?

The only way I can get a birthday to show up is if I sync my PC calendar with BB calendar? Besides that it's a manual process as far as I know. Perhaps you should try resyncing your PC with your BB?

your not talking about facebook birthdates?

I might just be confused. With all these OS and BBM ans hybrids being released all at once it's hard to think straight. :crazy: I tried downloading the new .0 OS last night but it kept freezing up my phone. Went back to BBC's Hybrid and all has been great again. I'll wait till BBC works his magic. His hybrids have alwasy worked great on my phone. I just hope he can pull something off with this new OS and I hope it's soon. HINT, HINT, HINT:hail:
