    I need BBM 5.0 for Storm OS 5.0.0.140

    Everyones been taken down by RIM!!!! :aargh4: Storm OTA down and what not. I had it but reloaded my BB this morning went to Storm OTA to get it and boom there is a message "We have just been ordered by RIM's attorneys to remove BBM5 from our site. Sorry." Does anyone have a mirror that will work for me? Thanks! Again i need a link to BBM 5.0 for the Storm running OS 5.0.0.140.

    Welcome to BlackberryOS. I've been looking for about an hour and haven't found one for OTA.

    If you performed a backup of your device you may still have the new messenger. DM consideres it a 3rd party app and if you backed up your 3rd party apps then you be able to reload it in application loader in DM.

    I have a theory,
    If someone you know has backed up their 3rd party apps and sent your a ziped file containing their ALX/cod files from the temp folder it should work.


    I have not tested it out to find out if it works. But in Theory.

    This kinda stinks I had to reload the os today, and yesterday when i used the ota bbm for 5.0 no problems... today I cant get it to appear so some time for researching. but lyric thanks you
