I got an exception at the end of the LoaderApp, then the device loaded up with the Blackberry logo in a different sized font so I thought I had it.

It then shut down and restarted with error 203.

To make meterberry reboot you have to go to application scroll down to buttom and delete entry for metterberry reboot.After that pull battery and everything will work.

I wish I could get that far, like Neo, I ran into a constant cycle of app error which didn't even allow me to get the the phone past the VZW splash page. It was like .65 all over again with Verizon Screen of Death

I had to go through the nuked steps to get it back, it wouldn't load to device through the DM or LoaderApp...I'm erked, cause I really wanted it to work.

I downloaded the Curve 83xx version and used Desktop Manager to install it on my Curve 8320 and havent looked back. It works like a charm. I have not noticed any slow-down of messaging or anything else. It even brings down the profile images. I will be sticking with it.

Isnt .151 and the 5.0 the same t hing? I am running .151, and thought it was 5.0. Is there something newer/better?

No. Two different versions. 5.0.0.140 was leaked yesterday.

Which is better, and which do you suggest? What makes the newer one different from .151?

Truthfully, .151. Less bugs and compatible with more apps.

So .151 is probably the best there is out there now for the storm as far as OS?

It is if you want 3rd party apps and stability. 5.0 is really good but not everyone is willing to sacrifice their apps.

I agree I tried and tried but as you said I had to follow the unbricking steps to break the never ending cycle of system reboots.

I agree with Nate. 5.0 is a glimpse into the future of what the future will bring but if you need any every day phone for stability and apps purposes I would go with 151. Just my two cents.

Needed my apps and I found .140 a little too buggy at this point. Used it all day yesterday and went back to .151 last night. Too bad because what it can do is awesome and I was so hoping it would work for me.

I haven't used a hybrid before (see my sig) but I think the first one I do use will be a 5.0 hybrid.

Have to agree with Nate need a phone having too many keyboard issues gotta go back down

I have had 5.0 since yesterday afternoon and I love it. I dod not use any themes at all nor facebook
