Thread: How to get OLD BB Messenger back?

Hi guys,

I have installed the new 5.0 version but I really don't like it. I think it's great, but for me, for now it has a ton of bugs. I need to go back to the old version. I just reformatted this morning, so I don't have any backups or OS installed on my pc.

I was wondering if anyone could send me the 3 (i think there's that many) files I will need to re-add it to my phone. I believe I need:

net_rim_bb_qm_peer.cod file
net_rim_bb_qm_peer_resource_en.cod
the ALX file

Install the OS onto your computer and run DM, you can revert back that way.

Be sure to back up as doing it this way will wipe your bbm contacts
