Thread: YouMail or Google Voice???

Now that Google Voice is out and people have had a chance to try it, I was wondering about preferences people had about it. I currently use YouMail which has lots of features including custom messages, etc. Which would you say in your opinion is better?

I have a Google Voice account, but I haven't seen any reason yet to give up my Youmail Visual Voicemail.
The transcriptions are dead on and it works flawlessly for me. Besides, I don't fell like changing phone numbers.
So for now, I'm staying with Youmail until Google Voice comes up with some real advantages.

I have been using the Google Voice app and love it. They just released the app at Google Mobile

I like how i can listen in on people leaving Voicemails
I can also view my transcriptions FREE and it comes to the app on my storm, TXT msg, and also email with audio.
I can dial from the app, and it pulls up the number reduced keypad which is easy and cool.
I can also use the app to send SMS from my google voice number.

Youmail charges you so i say Google Voice all the way!

Thanks, I am starting a new hobby. I am a BB developer for healthcare so im an addict for sure.

I have an account for both. I can not seem to give up my youmail account. Youmail works great and I've had no issues with it thus far.
