I did...I was just saying I hadn't completely unistalled and then reinstalled DM 5.0 after the initial install.

Yes, Vista 32 and Dell Inspiron 6400.

PS I did a full uninstall using the walk through from blackberry.com and reinstalling DM right now.

Thank you everyone!! VERY big props to you all. It seemed after I fully removed DM and then reinstalled, it connected right up. Now I need to figure out how to upgrade BBM. After all that work, I needa go do some more research on that matter...haha.

Cam and others:) hey glad you got this to work, but as I stated previously and he had told you he was missing DEVICE MANAGER, he had DESTOP MANAGER, but with out device manager the DM will not recognize, your phone, just something to keep in mind for the end of this thread, I believe you can download and install just device manager, great work to all
