Pushed apps?
How do you stop verizon from putting apps on the storm automatically? Yesterday I had slacker radio put on there and about a week or so ago they sent vcast song ID and vzw Tones. Is this what they call pushed content? How do I get rid of these? I dont want to have needless stuff in there wasting memory!

there is no way, your best bet is hide the icons...

Can it be removed with Shrink an OS?
-
no it cant, they are service books, you can delete the service books but they will be back with each reboot...

I have read somewhere that you can call vzw and they can edit the BIS settings so things don't get pushed to the device. I haven't tried it yet, cause had no time....

They are only links to download the apps. Not the actual apps themselves. Just hide them and move on.

I did hide them but it is still annoying and we should have the option to delete them altogether!

like the others said, hiding is the best option...and the icons are only a few kb's so it's really not taking up any space to be worried about.i just put them in a folder then if i decide i want to use song id or slacker i can just download them and use them...then delete them.kinda convenient for me.
