its badass , you can add someone by there barcode , there is a thread at CB , its the coolest thing , someone can email you the barcode , and your phone's camera scans it and adds as a contact

No you will need to go to the Verizon website and download the OS 4.7.1.40 and run the install. Then you will need to navigate to the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\App Loader folder and run the loader program.
You should back up your system first just in case but app loader will back it up for you as well.
but that supposedly only works for 89xx and 95xx..
Damn ..... Cant get it to load on Bold OS 5.0.0.100. Using the 5.0 Files and tried everything that has been suggested previously to this point.
Anyone had any luck on this combination of OS and files ?

hey MePascal i did as you said. i got the latest desktop manager software also. it says to me "This application is not compatible with your device and cannot be loaded" when i browse to the .alx file. the .alx file is inside of the folder named for_4.7.0 any more ideas? btw i Assumed that was the JAVA folder you were referring to.
