    Yes it does. Having a chat with someone on an 8330 Curve with the old version right after I installed. No lag, and the other person has no idea I upgraded.

    Guys, because it has the .alx file, you can simply download via the Application Loader (even with Desktop Manager). Just browse to the folder with the .alx files and install as you would any other app.

    when i click on storm file it say bbm 4.7.0 is that right or should I be clicking on the 5.0 link? I have a storm

    i am having the same problem with my storm. i select the file after i browse to it and it says there is "no additional applications designed for your device were found". do i need to uninstall the old version of blackberry messenger?

    Im a 9500 stomer from across the pond.... when I install with the App loader and the DM the message says that the app that I am trying to upload is not compatibe with my device???

    would my phone, not being a 9530 make the difference?? If so any one know how to adjust the Java files????
