I downloaded the 5.0 version for my 8900 with OS 5.0.0.100. I used the DM and Loader method with the same results. The app is installed but no icon, I checked hidden and all folder and its not there. I ended up putting my old version back on and that works.
Anyone have any ideas?
yes do it that way...

I would do a battery pull first. This will free up some room.Originally Posted by jmarkybb
well i didnt like the storm as much before the latest ota update. but anything to make it run better and stuff like that would be nice.
I attempted to install the new BBM and DM 5.0 gave me a message stated that the application is not compatible with my device and it can't be loader. I followed the tutorial that P3Designs created. Any ideas?
Can someone help me install this on mac?
copy and paste the cod files into the java folder for the os and run app loader

I went back and installed the .alx file in the os and reinstalled it to my phone. Any tips for using this yet?
I have a Curve 8330 with OS 4.5.0.77, installed Desktop Manager v5.0 last week and tried to install the new BBM today (version 4.5.0) . Did so, but icon is missing. Copy/pasted .alx file into Main OS folder on pc, and c/p cods's in Java folder. Icon for BBM still missing. Any suggestions? Thanks.
