Severe Lagg

Hello,
I am having some issues with my phone, I installed the .151 Hyrbrid verson 7.4 bbcrackman and my phone has one hell of a lag.. i did the proper wipes and even JL commander wipe/restore and it is still there? ANy ideas? I have 3rd party programs on it but I use aereze card loader so they are on the card. But the lag is between normal functions like opening SMS and browser... I can't figure it out, plus sometimes i open up other programs and I get a glitch looking thing like it is trying to change screens to fast glitch. Any ideas? I just want my phone to be fast I am used to the iphone... this is driving me nuts.. Thanks in advance!

Howdy and welcome :) Lets get a list of the apps installed on your phone first, and then what your app memory is on the phone. Did you do the battery pulls after you loaded the os?

Good morning iJax! What are all of the apps on your device? Have you gone to Options/Advanced options/Applications/BB Button/ highlght but don't click an app/ disable compatibility mode on easch third party app. Also hightlight phone/bb button/ edit permissions and set "allow" on all.

You are welcome, after you do what BBcrackman says try a battery pull, if your phone seems laggy I am willing to be you have a corrupt file some where in that list. So I would use DM to remove all your apps, try installing them one by one, or just using the ota downloads again, You may even want to go as far as wiping your phone and reloading the os. I dont think even straight .148 would help if you have a corrupt file

Did you do 3 battery pulls after installation? The same thing happened to me when I first installed this hybrid. Stick with it. After a few hours it stabilizes. This is the best os. Trust me.

Just for clarification card loader does not store your 3rd party apps on your card, it only stores the installer for the apps. How many 3rd party apps do you have installed on your phone? That could be playing a big part especially with the .151 files.

+1 Bx. Don't forget that these pulls are extended pulls(pull battery 60 sec. then let device boot completely, pull again for 60 sec, etc. etc...)
Hybrids typically take a little more time to stabilize iJax.

I did all that he said... Every time i use DM I have to re-enter my activation serials for my apps and some of them you can only activate once so i have to contact the company and tell them to reset it so i can register the app again... Talk about a huge pain in the a$$. Is there an easier way to keep that data so i dont have to go through that process everytime?

Do you know how yo do a third party app backup?

I see all the apps there when i go to application lists. How do I know if they are on the card or my phone? Because when i open up the card reader it shows them being on my card but in options/applications it shows them being on my phone ? I am confused with that. It isn't reading my card for some reason and it is in there? it shows Total 128.0MB, and 42.2 MB free Since start up is -0.5MB

First question I have is do you really use all of those apps? The reason for this is some of them are redundant. The reason I ask about permissions and compatibilitily mode is that if these are not set corectly they will cause your device to give the problems you are having. Also, some of the apps you are using are severe memory hogs and it could be possible that they are draining your mem to nothing. Make sure when you close a program you completely exit, don't just use the back button as this leaves the program running in the background. yet all of these suggestions and if you are still having the issue go to Option/memory and check your available mem. It will probably be close to 0 if not 0.

As I stated in your other thread Card loader does not store the programs on the card, but rather the installers only. So all the apps that you see listed in options>advanced>applications are stored on your phone's memory.
