    How to get unlocked Storm 9530 on TMO fully working?

    My buddy is buying my spare storm, i just got it unlocked through the Global support contact number through VZW (1-800-711-8300)(Option 3) and he wants to put it on TMO. what does he have to do in order to set it up and get everything working?? Thanks

    I'm not an expert on the Storm like many others here, so I can't really tell you. I am pretty sure however that you should set your network connection from 3g & 2g to just 2g, since the device is not compatible with Tmobile's 3g data network.

    I am on mobile version right now so the link would be mobile but if you click on the upgrade guide that's in my signature, scroll down towards bottom, there is a link on how to get an unlocked storm fully working on other carriers. Let us know how all turns out.

    Working great so far. had to change APN settings from like vzw3ge to wap.voicestream.com and change the 3g and 2g to just 2g. (Helped Keep EDGE better) of course remove venderl.xml file from OS when i installed .148 and using .90 radio now. and have .109 on standby.
