Ok so I see Verizion Fios has ann app. and Directv has an app for the IPhone. Why can't BB users have an APP for Directv. I am mean. I would think if it works alredy maybe the line codes for Bb has to be incorported but it should be possible. This is the ONLY app I want. It will allow me to manage my DVR's from anywhere. Though you can't watch live TV. If I am traveling and want to record it. It would be nice to have an app for that....i'm just sayin :laugh2:

I thought there was a way to program your Direct TV programmed through your BB. I don't know if it is an App or just done through mobile web. I will double check that and see what the options are.

YEa you can ...but m.directv.com doesn't work for me here. I get an error so I have to go to the direct website. Which takes forever to load due to all the graphics. An app would be better IMHO. I may knwo just the person to nag about getting one out for us BB users

You can manage your DVR through the website ... Anyways i have good news for ya... I don't dor sure but someone told me that an app for the Storm is on the way (how long it will take I don't know). Once I have more information I'll post it

That would be great. I would also like to see something along these lines for TIVO. I hate when I'm out and realize I forgot to record something.

I believe Tivo has some kind of remote record function too. Next year when tivo goes back to having a Dirctv DVR we'll find out :haha:

I just tried m.directv.com and it worked for me. I actually didn't know that I could do that.

I can't wait for DirecTV to get TIVO back. I miss having my TIVO, it was so user friendly.

I get htp error 504 gateway timeout. Do you know why? I get it every time too
