Thread: Answering Incoming Calls!

Hey BB ladies & gentlemen,

I know that this may be a very dumb question, but I have to ask anyway. If I'm on a call and someone calls me, how do I take that call and once I'm finished go back to the person who I placed on hold? I've answered several calls and the person that I've placed on hold states that they know that they are on hold, but when I hang up on the other person it also hangs them up. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! at:

Try hitting the Send button again instead of the End button. I believe that's the correct way.

Nate is right... When u want to hang up from the second party and go back to the first hit the send button. End will end all calls.

Let's say you're on a conference call and just want to hang up with one of the parties but keep the other on the line. What is the protocol for that?

that question bothered me also and i would almost always hang up on both trying to accomplish this task

My guess is the other party has to just hang up...you can't throw him off the call.

Can't you just select "Drop Call" in the menu?

EDIT: Oh wait, nevermind. Just realized this was for the Storm. I can't even do three-way calls with my Storm. Works with all my other phones.

Hey Toy long time no speak. Hope all is well. Nope that doesn't work. Even if the other party hangs up the Storm is too stupid to realize the call has been dropped.

I have looked at every possible option in the menu and there is no drop call function. If you end the call it disconnects the phone call altogether.

btw, you can definitely do 3 ways call all the time. The problem is when you want to hang up with one party after a conference call the connect someone else into that call it doesn't work. Very lame.

Ha I never knew this I always hung up on the person I was originally talking too. Im glad someone finally asked the question.

I was worried pushing send would allow the person that just called would hear what my previous caller was talking about.

jlevy, i dont three way or conference but i found this....

7. To disconnect from one caller but not the other, press the Menu button again.
8. Go to the End Call option.
9. A new screen will pop up asking you who you want to disconnect.
10. Chose the caller you would like to disconnect.
11. You have disconnected them.
