    Helppp

Can someone help me please....I have an unlock storm with Tmobile. The OS I'm using is .148 provided through Verizon (minus the vendor file). For whatever reason the only time my 'EDGE' stays in caps is whenever I use the internet, every other time I try to use it, particular with my apps, it always goes to 'edge'. In other words, I can't use any of my apps that I've downloaded because I get no internet, and it evens says that I don't have enough coverage data to support whatever I'm doing. I willing to try another OS build just to have a constant EDGE. I'm getting so frustrated with this phone.

I woke up this morning...LIFE IS GOOD

The reason you're having these issues is because of the radio code that's used in the .148 OS. Unfortunately, the only OS' that handle EDGE well are .75 and .90 (and we all know they aren't the best OS' for the Storm). On the plus side, you CAN use the radio code from those OS' with your .148 OS. I'd recommend .90 as I don't think .75 is even compatible with newer OS'. Take a look at Swap-A-Radio if you want to look into using the .90 radio code with your .148 OS.

There's no GPRS setting in there.
But unfortunately, there's no setting that the phone has that can fix this issue. It's all because of the radio code. :boggled:
