Just got the weather app and the overheating resurfaced ? Either your device doesnt play well with the weather app, or you need a new Storm. The 2nd overheating battery will grant you a new device.

You may have had a shorted cell in the battery causing excessive draw. It will be most predominant when charging but will also run hotter than norm when just using the phone. If you still have issues after replacing the battery I would do as cruz suggests and get a new device.

I replaced the battery a hour ago. I will use tomorrow and let u no my findings. I have just recently received a replacement last month because my charger port broke. I have had four replacements. They have all had overheating problems. They switched phones every time but never the battery. So this my first warranted battery today. I just recently downloaded berry weather. I had this issue way be before berryweather. I have tried all hybrids and still had same issue. I just thank it a bad battery. I charge my phone every night, and don't take it off untill 8 am. Then use all day threw work. And have to charge at one. It will be totally discharged. And I only talk on it for a few min a day. So I will turn off my clear log on mb. And see how it discharges and temp.

well battery didn't over heat today stayed charge all day.and im running oneofakinds 5.91. so im good now. look at theses memory stats

My phone has stopped charging a few times and has been real hot. I've only noticed it when using car charger though. How do yall know the exact temp of your phones, lol?

Through Meterberry Mule. It gives you a temperature readout of the battery. Mine right now is a cool 75F.

Yeah that is way too hot. You may just want to get a replacement sounds like there is something funky going on with the hardware.
