    Problems with SMS indicator

ok so when i updated to one of the hybrids it decided to keep past SMS msgs as unopened at the top...ive tried to reload the hybrid and delete all msgs off my phone and im still getting puzzled...im using Natemz Pro v3 and i even switched back to the default and its still there...its very annoying...anyone have any ideas for a fix? thanks for all opinions and help....

Do you want all the messages gone? You could just use Desktop Manager's back up/restore tool to remove all the messages from the SMS database.

Connect your BlackBerry to your computer and start Desktop Manager.
    Open Desktop Manager
    Choose the Back up/Restore tool
    Click on the Advanced button
The databases on your phone will appear on the right side
Scroll down and select SMS Messages
    Click the Clear button
This should delete all your SMS messages.

Have your phone plugged in then from DM go to Back Up/Restore

    Then go to Advanced

it should auto load whatever your last back up was

I would delete both data base so go to Device Database and look for Messages & SMS Messages and it clear

    Messages:

    SMS Messages;

WARNING!! you will lose all messages though if you do this so if you don't want to lose them all then i wouldn't recommend doing this

    Wirelessly posted

Just a quick thought on this issue is; before deleting all from the DM an unread item could be hiding is the saved folder. Go to BB menu from your message screen and choose view saved messages. If something is unread in there the new message notification will also remain.

Thank you Laney for re-opening this for me.
