You can use the switch device wizard to transfer the apps to your replacement. However any apps that are licensed via your pin (you paid for an app and had to give your pin) you will need to email the vendor and see if they will transfer the license to your new pin.
Thanks for a such quick response guys.
Striker there is a little easier way with MobiHand :)
If you haven't switched phones before log into your mobihad account page Here at the top of the page you will see an option to change your pin. Click that and enter your new pin number (be sure to use capital letters when entering) this will switch all your apps immediately so you can start using them. Mobi allows you to do this once, after that you will have to email them. On my last replacement it took them 3 days to return my email, which meant I couldn't use any of my apps for those 3 days.
If he had bought a few from CB, he could log into the account and change the info. Make sure to input the right info, if not, then you'd have to call or email em.
Thanks for the tip BDRAGON.
BD no matter where he bought them CB or us as long as it is through Mobihand they will be in this account page. if you log into your mobiand account page through our store it will show all the apps you have purchased no matter where :) . It is a great feature MobiHand offers :)

Okay. Quick question. Is mobi hand the only ones that deal with the apps?

Thank you. Was just wondering. Cause they seem be on all the sites I visited.
Before I send this defective phone back to verizon can I do a factory reset with Swiss Army knife? Will this take off my third party apps?
Absolutely...BBSwiss Army Knife will wipe that device clean. I would do a wipe instead of a factory reset. This will erase Os and any 3rd party apps and leave the device with 507 error. If you do the security wipe application that on your device and select erase 3rd party apps this will take care of your original question as well.
Options>>Security Options>>General Settings>>Menu(Blackberry)button>>select Wipe Handheld>>then follow the prompts.
Just got of the phone with VZW...All they care about is receiving the bad device. Just to reiterate what I stated earlier...One of the first actions that is performed is to wipe the device anyhow. You don't need to install an OS back onto the device...
Good Luck
