Thread: Can't install OS Keep getting 561 or 507 error

Do I have a bad storm can upgrade OS I did get 113 to take buy can get 132. I do wipe, restore factory settings. I even got an JVM Error 102. Have never seen this before. Any help

Sounds like you need to wipe your phone so you can have a clean slate to start from. I know you stated you have wiped but it sounds like you are only doing a security wipe from your hand held.

Try following the steps in this link and trying again, don't forget to back up your 3rd party apps and device memory any questions just post

If you've been running any hybrids it's also a good idea to check for 'fragments' of OS's that add/remove programs does not catch. From your PC go to C: > program files > common files > research in motion > shared > loader files and highlight and delete any folders that are left over after your add/remove is complete. I like to keep these cleaned up and never have more than 1 OS installed at a time.

That is a good point Morganizer..
I use a program from Piriform called CCleaner instead of add/remove programs. Not only will it remove the program, it will delete any registry strings that are associated to that program. No trace of it will ever be seen as if it was never installed.

+1 on CCcleaner great program updates all the time and its free. Clears cache, temp files,cookies just about anything that gets left behind.
