Thread: 151 v7 profile issues

i just install the 151 v7 , the os is awsome i cant get in the profiles menu i cant get to set ringtones /alerts
it doesnt happen nothing when i press to go there what can i do ???

have you tired a battery pull yet? if not try that and see if that corrects the issue

Have you finished with all the battery pulls?

have alredy 10 battery pulls and 2 days with the os i cant get into the profile menu

are you using a 3rd party theme on your phone? If so can you switch back to the default theme and select the profiles?

im using appleberry classic i change to default theme and still the same

So is profiles the only option that you can't select? If you click it what does it do?

nothing happens when i press profile

when i press on speaker icon it opens the sounds profile i can choose all profile normal , loud , vibrate ,etc when i press on set ring tones/alerts nothing happens

OK try this and it is a long shot I downloaded a hybrid awhile ago and for some reason I got to browser icons and two message icons. One would work and the other wouldn't. Try unhiding all your icons and see if there is a double profile icon.

could be the ringtones menu file ???

Can you get to set ringtones and alerts by accessing it through the main menu?

options>ringtones/alerts

Then that to me means a wipe of the phone and re install? Did you use Shrink A OS on the original install?

just install the 151 to pc and then extract v7 files to my os folder then apploader

I would delete the OS's you have installed on your PC as well as their installers and re download the OS's again (just in case there was a corrupted file during download). Then you would either try reloading without wiping phone and see if it sees a missing file and adds it, or you could wipe the phone and start fresh.

Am I missing something? .151? Thought it was all referred to as .148 with random 5.0 files in there? Unclear here......
