Thread: How do I find and get rid of a deleted app?

Here is the issue i am having, I had a week ago deleted WeatherEyeTouch off my storm, Yesterday when I made a backup copy of my app folder i put it on my desktop and as i was browsing the folder i noticed there was a 900+k file for WeatherEyeTouch there, I have searched and searched my storm to try and find it and it's nowhere to be found. I have checked the applications folder and hunted for it with bbfilescout, but i cant find where its hidden. I would like to figure out how to get rid of the remnants. any suggestions

I've seen this as well before with other apps and I found that it was .alx files that were on my PC that either DM or Loader.exe recognized.
If you really feel like the remnants are on your device that your alternative is to wipe the handset. Just my opinion.

Thats what i'm not sure of if they are on the device, I am thinking of downloading dm5.0 so maybe i'll try that first and then make a new app backup and see if it's there. Never thought about it being leftover on the dm.
I'm just one of those people that does not wipe unless it's really necessary. If it aint broke dont fix it :hail:

My 5.0 DM does the same thing gate. If you don't see it on your device then most probably it's not there. I'm like that as well...If it aint broke, it ain't broke.
