I had the same problem with the .75 os. if your using .75 then try updating, also i had to choose activate headset on a couple versions. but the newer versions automatically switch when plugged in

Maybe it is OS related, but I wouldnt think so. I cant believe the adapter didnt work. I hope you were able to return it. There something with that cable in your vehicles. If it was professionally installed maybe ask them. Or maybe look into something like this.Quote:

Ok I'm taking the adapter comments back I came and found my old. Ipod cable and it worked fine, but I did have to take my case off so it would go all the way in. So if you have a cover of some sort try taking it off. Then if that doesn't work I would try a new cable they are fragile.
Our iPods have both been broken for a while, so I haven't been able to test them. I do have a Nano that was working a couple of weeks ago. I just don't know what it can be. hubby bought a new cable a couple of days ago, and it didn't work (the 1st thing we tried). I just might give up soon. Dunno..... I just KNOW it's going to be something stupid.
beachbunnimom, Do you have any car audio stores around you? Maybe stop there and see if they might be able to troubleshoot it. If nothing else, make them think your buying whatever it is that works. Then go home and buy it on ebay...lolQuote:

We have success!! Tested the Storms today in the car with the new OS. It took some messing around, but I got them to work! Its a little temperamental, but its working. Wish I knew what exactly happened but I don't. Thanks for everyone's help!
