Thread: A Communication failure message:(

Errr- getting this error message from the BB Browser. Switched it to internet explorer and still get the message. Opera Mini still works but i would like the BB Browser also to work.

"A Communication failure occurred with the selected mobile data service. The Server may be busy, please try again later. If the problem persists contact your administrator"

Resent services books, (I think i did it right) Running on a BES and .148 Shrunk from Verizon.

Any suggestions on how to fix it? Thanks

Options>advanced>host routing>bb button>register now

Tired that. still have the issue its crazy cause some websites still work but others done.

Try a battery pull...Leave it out for about 60 seconds...

Could it be a BES problem? and I see in your OP you said you think you did it right as far as service books go, how did you do it?

I'm thinking that its a BES issue. co worker is having the same issue.

Options>>Mobile Network>>Data Services: On... Network Selection: Automatic)if you have SIM installed)...Network Technology: 1XEV

If you think it's a BES issue..I'd be curious to see what would happen with a diagnostic test.

Options>>Mobile Network>>Menu(Blakberry)button>>Diagnotic Test>>Menu button>>Run

Connected to Blackberry should read No I think after you run the test.

Good, often times a 3rd party software will conflict will Opera. Glad you got it running.

Its crazy. still have the issue, but its only on mobile websites (ebay mobile, yahoo mobile.) LOL. the normal sites load fine.

Crazy stuff. annoying

May reload with a clean copy of .148. not a single mobile website is working now. lol

Delete Opera reboot the device, try the connectivity after boot with the site of your choice, or the site that you could not connect to previously.

Reload Opera, check your program permissions before launch to allow all, see how that works out.
If your trying to browse the site by saved bookmarks, be sure and move them to Blackberry Bookmarks.

Nope changed it back to BB Browser.
