Multiple Profiles: How to Delete
I have a user on Enterprise that ended up with two profiles when he re-activated, and now receives double mail. Does anyone know (other than a wipe) if there is a way to delete a prfofile (the 2 are "Desktop") from the phone? He has numerous apps that he didn't really want to download again, so I'm just lookig for a shortcut for him. Thanks all!

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

Hello Yukon,
Welcome...first one question please. Are you the administrator for this BES account?
-
I'm the BES Admins boss :lmao:
(but I do have access to BES)
He asked me since he knows I have done OS upgrades and such, and know the thing pretty well. My question for him was if there were dupliate entries in the service books. The user said no, but I told him to bring the Storm to me to look, hasn't yet. So I have a 50% shot that there is the solution, but, they guy may be right, and they aren't there...

Yeah... The easy fix would be to just delete the unwanted user from the BES side. After that was done the device would sync to the 1 profile.
Just curious as to how two profiles were generated?

Thanks! We had finally moved some remaining Exchange 2003 users over to our Ex 2007 servers. He was one of the "left overs." For some reason, he lost communication with the BES (though dozens of others did not...)
BlackBerry worked with my admin almost an entire day. When they finally got it to activate, he had two profiles... weird.

Very good Yukon,
The easiest way to take care of that issue would be to pull up the BES server when you are able to have access. Delete the unwanted profile. This will allow that user to keep all the 3rd party alps. Your other alternative would be the one you already stated and that would be to simply re install the OS through th apploader from DM or through Loader.exe.
Hope this helps....
