Thread: SD card access

can anybody tell me how to access my SD card thru my PC? im trying to upload movies onto my Storm but i guess is going into the device memory because it says i need more MB's, my SD card has 5GB left so how do i do this? :06:

Did you turn on your mass media storage?

options > memory > media card support > ON

Also, you need to set Mass storage mode support to ON in the same menu. Then you need to set Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected to either ON or PROMPT. Then when you connect your BB via USB to your PC, you will be able to access your device memory and media card using explorer. Good luck.

I have the 8 gig card with 5 full movies + a whack of songs and pictures loaded.
It shows me having 3.8 gig empty.
On your options> memeroy - how much do you show remaining?

It sounds like you're trying to put them into device memory still. On my PC, E: is the media card and F: is the device memory. Either that or you're installing 5.121GB of media :Eyecrazy:

That's funny! I spent couple of hours lastnight doing this. I was actually going to post a step by step. After doing it correctly and seeing how easy it can be, or hard it could be... I realized someone else could need would run into the same things I did. Digging through HELP and Bryans stuff I only found half of the info. Maybe Bryan you could get the rest in yours, once you get past Winrar? I'm sure it would be very helpful. Many people are just figuring out they have this feature.
