Thread: blackberry messenger disapeared, no sound

Since the installation of 114 hybrid, I have lost my blackberry messenger and sometimes there is no sound from incoming calls. another thing, with flycast, sometimes i get sound sometimes not, is this the app or the phone? If these have been answered before, sorry.

good morning funnyfarm! Welcome to BlackBerryOS!

Have you tried the obligitory battery pull?
You may have to make some changes to your settings.
From you BB go to Options/Advanced Options/ Applications/ highlight "phone" do not click/bb button/edit permissions/ allow all/ save

same application menu highllight "Flycast" do not click/bb button/disable compatability mode/save

try these first then we will go from there

Thanks BBCRACKMAN. I will see how that works for the phone, as far as the flycast goes it was already disabled.
What about the Blackberry messenger, how do I get that to show, it is in the list of loaded apps but no icon? I have tried several Batt pulls.

I have to ask, have you hit the bb button/show all?
while showing all check your folders/ applications, instant messages/download and so forth.

Check that

I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and its back now. thanks for all your help. looking forward to your next OS.
