Thread: Screen squeak?

My screen will occasionally squeak when its clicked on the corners. Has anyone else heard of this? :eek5:

No i haven't, you could always get ahold of VZW and get a replacemtent, or our very own nikkig618 has a WD-40 fix JK JK PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS!

I have thought about a replacement, but from what I have read, some of the replacements have more issues. :dead1:

Yes squeaking is not a good sign. I would get a replacement for this.

Mine never squeaked, but I bet that's irritating....I would recommend a replacement...my new one clicks perfect

You sure you don't have edge of screen protector rubbing against plastic or silver part? I have had that...

Use the washing machine fix! Also fixes dust under screen issue. Just remember to set the washer to delicates/knitt and don't forget the fabric softener!

Is this fix for real or a rasputin special? So for I have been using the claw hammer but it's a no go

My first one did this :hmmm: and i called Verizon right away and they replaced it no problem :bigok:

I tend to get the ones that make a crunchy sound but I did have one that squeeked and got it replaced.

lol yep i have had horrible luck with this phone

I have heard of this happening to some too. Replacement was the way they went.

Ive replaced 4 for the crunchies, and 3 for the "No Click" and now I have one that does what it is supposed. By the way if you have replaced 3 the 4th is supposed to be a brand new device. The last 3 I had were brand new and not refurbs.
