Thread: Anyone seen this on their Storm before?

Am I behind on times and just NOW recognizing this? if you go into the browser on your storm and type in a URL, does your space button turn into a period button or if you hit the number button it then turns into a / button?

I read somewhere that if you are in the browser typing a URL if you type . and hit the space bar ".com" will be added to the URL address. I have tried this and it did not work. Any one know about this?

It doesn't automatically pop up, but you get a dropdown box with the address that you typed and .com at the end and you can just select it from there.

not using your bb much lately?

actually, it's the 'sym' button that turns the space bar into a forward slash (although if you press the numbers button, the / is still available in its usual spot).

Ha... both the sym button and the cap buton turn the space bar into the / also if you lay you're finger on top of the j for a second it also give you the / key without even having to change to cap or sym.... that is actually the easiest way to get it.. Wow i must be on my browser way to much :bigok:
