Thread: SMS & MMS in Message Folder

How can I keep from getting messages in both the SMS folder and Messages folder?

combine them...go into your email, bbkey, general options, options, choose combined from your SMS and Email Inboxes

then everything will show in your messages folder.

I understood, one more thing when I receive a email from my gmail it also shows up in both is there a fix for this. I tried to get on BIS and it said that I already have a account for my PIN but I have not set it up. Is there a default user name and password?

There is not a default password for BIS that I am aware of, you have to set that up when you add email accounts. When you set up your gmail account did you go through BIS? Email set up on your phone, or did you set in up on the your pc

When you visit the page if you never set it up with your provider then it will contradict itself until it gets setup.

Very easy to fix. Just call your provider ask for support and tell them you need to set up your account to access the site.

It takes about 3 minutes. They will ask for your email address and give you a temp password which you can change.

Test it while your on the phone with them...so be at the login screen.

Its a account I had before I purchased the BB, so yes I set it up on my pc.

I contacted Verizon and they changed my password for me and walked me through resetting my gmail account. All I have left is to setup my work email through Outlook Express. I hope it works! Thanks

once they set it up, you should have instant access to blackberry.com

From there you can set up more emails plus send your service books.

If you don't have access to the site then verizon did something wrong.

Also dont forget if you haven't already to make the filter for the GMail or you will get a copy of every email you send from your BB.
