    Angry Blackberry Messanger...GONE

    Help...
Just did a fresh install of V7 which totally ROCKS.....
I went to send off a mssg using the Blackberry messanger and it's no longer there!
Did a full backup, everything works well except the IVISTA-360 Theme and sure enough can't find where or what the heck happened to the BB mssngr.
Tried to click and highlight thru the desktop mgr but it's no where to be found.
Anyone have or had this issue...at:

Have no worries. From your BB browser go the following site and you can download it OTA

    http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/dev...ry.do?code=bbm

    Hey CDNSTORM..
I would try looking in your instant messaging folder to see if it was moved by the loader app too

And you double checked application loader on DM to see if it wasn't unchecked?

    Bryan;
the application loader on the DM does NOT show any BBM...Actually it only shows the apps I installed and none of the core apps.
Think I need to Nuke DM and re-install.

    Laney,
    checked advance/options/applications....and guess what...NOT THERE...
Not good....I think my DM is corrupted.

if you connect your phone to your pc and go to c/program files/common files/research in motion/apploader and run apploader, when the application loader wizard comes up, is blackberry messenger checked off or not? if not, you can check it and run it and apploader will install it on your phone

    Laney,
Makes sense to go back to the apploader....tried that and Houston we have a problem.
The only thing showing in the apploader programs is my own apps and NON of the system apps.
Did a fresh install of DM and shows the same thing..my own apps and NO system apps..
I guess it's time to wipe the storm again and start over....any other ideas...

Wipe your phone and install a fresh copy of whatever OS you want. It sounds like a corrupt copy of the OS to me. Also yes that OTA link is not valid with the newer OS's.

    Good Luck

Do what Bryan said, wipe the device, do a fresh install of the OS, app loader is much easier IMO. And when you do that, make sure BBMs box is checked to get installed on to the device. Good luck!
