Thread: help...cam not workkin

when i try to access my camera on the 9530 i get a message....could not start camera close other application and try opening the camera again...I wipe the os and reloaded a update version and i am having the same problem....What can i do to fix my cam?.

Unfortunately, if any of the resolutions listed in the article do not fix your issue, you are looking at a hardware issue and it may be time for a new device.

Not an "official" solution, but when I saw the thread title I thought "this is gonna be a Storm owner" because a buddy of mine had the same issue. The way he fixed it was by the pressing on the camera till he heard a small click when he put it back in place. Apparently this issue can happen because the phone was dropped and the camera physically got moved a little and it happened more frequently on Storm devices. Hope it helps

hey i open the phone and press down on the camera and it work...thanks alot it did the trickk

Glad to see you got it going. I never had this issue with my Storm device and I dropped that thing enough times to crack the screen in 3 places. Still worked like a champ though.
