Thread: Waking up your Storm

When your Storm is laying idle on the table and you get a text or email and the LED starts flashing, what button do you push to light the screen up?
I seem to always push the red power button and lately it doesn't light the screen up. I have to push the back button. Don't know if this is V7 related or
not.

Hello Striker..
Throughout any of the OS's I have been able to press my screen and it will ramp up. I did not get in the habit of using the function keys. Secondly, I've only utilized 1 hybrid and that was BBCv6. I was able to press my screen as well to activate it.

Striker I started having this issue a couple of weeks ago and it kept getting worse and worse. It got to the point of having to hold down the hard keys for up to 5 seconds for my storm to turn on. Needless to say I just got my replacement.

Don't ask why, but I always use the back button. Just a habit I guess.:crazy:

I always use the mute button but it takes a minute bc this damn case......

i usually click the screen or the end button but this case makes it a lil difficult

i use the biggest button of them all...........the screen

i usually press the back button, out of habit. sometimes i press the screen, but if you don't hit it squarely it might not register, which i guess is why i use the hard key.

the screen is the best button...my opinion

BB Light- it lights up automatically when a text comes in.

Same here. I don't know why but I press it.

I don't know why but I typically just throw mine across the room. That seems to do the trick.
