    Question about Memory

Hi all. I went to download a game this morning and had a message come up that said I had less than 5 Megs of application memory left. Is there any way I can increase the memory for my device? I really haven't downloaded much, or at least I didn't think I had.

    Thanks!

You probably just need to do a battery pull to get your memory back up. There are memory leaks in the os and in a lot of apps. So over time your app memory can drain down to nearly 0. A batt pull will fix the problem for you though.

How many applications and games do have on you're storm, maybe list them here so we can let you know which ones are the worst (hogs) on your memory. Also make sure to clear your cache if you have it disabled and close any apps after you are through with using them.
Also do you quickpull downloaded or a reset app, otherwise try a battery pull to regain app memory and you should be able to download the game

If you can list your 3rd party apps and any themes you have on your phone. This way we can help provide with those known to leak.

    Thanks everyone.
Firstly, how do I "empty my cache?"

Secondly, I have downloaded the following since I got my device:
Games - Yathzee (but since I had to reload after exchanging my phone it's telling me I have to pay again....cuz i have no idea what my Reg # was)
    - Bubble Burst
    - Bubble Army
    - Tank Ace
    - Snake
    - Lights Out

    Apps - Facebook
    - VLingo
    - Level
    - A Personal Assistant
    - Poynt

Themes - Zen - Came with my phone
    - Blossom (from this forum)

There are some on here that I will be removing which brings me to my next question...can I delete them directly off my phone or go thru DM and uninstall?

    Thanks

The easiest way to delete apps or themes is to go into options>advanced options>applications and highlight the app you want to delete and hit the BB button. Then select delete and reboot the phone.

To clear your cache from your handset simply open your browser>>menu(Blackberry)button>>Options>>Cache Operations>>Then clear all that apply.

To delete you apps properly from your handset you can select Options>>Advanced Options>>Applications>>then highlight the application that you wish to delete>>Menu button>>select delete. Your device will prompt you to reboot to complete the deletion of the application.
