    Hey all!

I seem to have used up most of my darn memory again! I have removed a couple of apps and make sure to clear my cache but for some reason my memory keeps running low. I have a few apps but am surprised that I can't hold more than what I currently have.

Is there a way to increase the memory? Is it possible to switch from Application Memory and utilize memory from device or media?

WOW! I went from 2.0 to 30.6 just by doing a battery pull! That seems like a lot to me. Is that normal?

That's normal tamara. Do you battery pull regularly?
I would recommend once a day. Preferably after you remove your device from charging. IMHO.

Yes it is but the question will be how quickly you drop back to 2mb again.

Something to think about is that over time, some of your 3rd party apps and contacts and such can get corrupted as you install new OS's. A lot of people have noticed that memory leak is greatly reduced by wiping your phone, resintalling the OS (without any 3rd party apps or contacts), then manually reinstalling all your apps and contact. This will clean up any corrupt directories that may exists which will no doubt improve your memory problem.

I am finding that I pretty much HAVE to do a battery pull daily. My device gets sluggish and slow. At the very least every other day. I will get into the habit of doing a battery pull in the am after I have charged my phone throughout the night. Thanks!

You always have BBOS to get you going again. Wipes are not so bad. 1st timers feel that way in general. I did. Nothing to worry bout.

It's a painless procedure I promise. And of course we are to help so you should not fear doing this.

Always backup your device before attempting to make changes to the OS. This includes 3rd party apps as well. That is always good advice to give.

That's normal as everyone has told you.
I start out in the morning with 42 and
It settles in the evening at about 18
I am constantly erasing junk emails
Bbm's, text mess., call logs, and making
Sure I close apps that I'm done using.I am
Also running more apps than you. So if
You can weed through all of the great
Suggestions you shouldn't have any more
Problems. And don't forget if you have
Any more questions or am not quite gettin
What we are tell please ask again and one
Of us might have a way of explaining it so
    U understand.

Thanks J! One thing I learned when I was a teacher, was everyone can figure out what is being taught it's just figuring out the right way to explain it to them. And if there not learnin your explainin it wrong. Ultimately it's my fault.
I always had the highest grades coming out of my classes. I was always the funniest teacher too. I was always the biggest arguement in meetings. I wouldn't teach there way!!!!!!!!!!!!:18:
