    I agree, I've had Verizon for about 10 years and haven't had a problem that they didn't fix. For the 1 year that I had Cingular I had constant problems with customer service. I ended up buying out my contract to switch over to Verizon.

    I had AT&T for one year and that's all it took for me to go running to Big Red lol

    Bryan, when I call VZW, will they ask me what version software I am running? Has anyone had any problems getting tech support with the hybrid software? Do I tell them I am running the official OS. I am thinking that with the conversion in my area, I may need to change some of the info in the programming mode, but I know they need to change it on their end as well.

    If they ask then tell them you are running .148. Though I have never had them ask me what OS I was running and I have called them many times for different hardware issues.

    I agree with BB on .148 as well as I have never had them ask what Version I am running? Just called tonight to order my 3rd Storm and they didn't even ask.

    Great, going to get hubby's phone as we speak. I will let you know what I find out. There might be a few other Alltel to VZW owners like me who are having issues.

    they asked me to read the version and platform number when i called a couple weeks ago... good thing i looked up the info and had it ready just in case
