Blackberry Messenger Sounds

Hi guys,

I have been using BB Messenger for months now, but since I upgraded to V6, the soudns are weird. Now when I get a message, it plays my notifier sound through the ear peice speaker. Not the large speaker in the back of the phone. What this means, is that I NEVER hear that I get a message anymore. I have it turned all the way up, but I cannot hear it.

Anyone have an idea on what I can do to get the sound to come from my speakerphone speaker like it used to do? Thanks.

hmm, thats a new one... for me at least. does the alerts for emails and such and ringtones play on the speaker?
