Hay peeps I've been looking at forums and just a thought. I just was wondering how many of u had a storm replaced. And if more then once what number your on. I on my fourth since February. First one was the os. Second was the clicking and freezing. Third was over heating and charging port broke. So I'm on number four.
Here I will be the next to respond...I had a storm since November 21st and am on #5 right now...
#1 Dust under screen/ reception issues
#2 and #3 Click issues, no torx or dots helped
#4 Dust under screen out of box (was a brand new unit), I was saddened by this cause it was perfect otherwise!
#5 current---also perfect ;)
This is my third in the past 2 months. 1st replacment was bad right out of the box. This one has slight clicking issues but I'm not complaining yet. After the third replacement in 90 days, Verizon has to offer you a different comperable phone. So....... I'm waiting to see if the Storm 2 is coming soon:147:

I got my 1st Storm Dec 17th and after having it 6 months I am on #7 and they have all had the same or similar issue.
1)Screen fails to click on the bottom corners (Mexico) New
2)Screen does not click but crunches (Mexico) Refurb
3)Screen crunches (Canada) Refurb
4)Screen crunches (Canada) Refurb
5)Screen crunches (Canada) Refurb
6)Screen fails to click on bottom corners (Canada) New
7) Finally I have a fully functional Device (Mexico) New

I too am still on my first one from early Dec. Not long for the world though. Screen is getting dirt and dust under it.
Only replaced once in December. The clicking in lower part started getting bad.
Been using second one since.
#4 here, all screen issues...click and dust.
The one that works is made in MEX and all other were made in CAN.

I am on my third Storm:
#1: Purchased Nov. 21, was perfect the screen stopped clicking (Canada)
#2: Received my replacement and screen was dead right of the box (Canada)
#3: Seems to be a keeper, received Jan 15th and works excellently (Mexico)
Still on my first, and might I add, looks brand new and I've had it since it's release.
im on number 2, the 1st one would randomly go to static/snow on a almost daily basis
Still on my first. No issues. I am lucky I guess. I usually would have dropped one in the hot tub by now.
Our stormies, whether they "hes" or "shes" deserve the best protection and cherishing! ;)
Well for my last one (it was a brand new one), I bought those iphone anti glare smudge proof screen protectors. I cut the top and bottom off (measured and then cut) to fit my stormie, and it works wonders. Since it's a tad bit wider (and I also made it a little bigger for top and bottom) my gaps are significantly reduced in size....and the best part is that the screen looks like I never use it since it does not attract fingerprints, etc....
I know it was a bit off topic, but I just wanted to throw it out there!!! ;)
